According to a number of United States and world government and intelligence officials, among others, we are not alone. Many others are more skeptical. Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence officer who led the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and David Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence officer, have both made significant claims regarding the existence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), often referred to as UFOs. Elizondo has stated that the U.S. government possesses evidence of advanced, unexplainable aircraft with capabilities far beyond human technology, which may indicate non-human origin. Grusch has further asserted that the U.S. government is hiding information related to UAP crash retrievals, including possession of non-human craft and biologics. Both argue for increased transparency, urging the government to disclose what it knows about UAPs to the public. Their claims have sparked renewed interest and debate over the potential existence of extraterrestrial or non-human technology.
